Warwickshire Wedding String Quartet at Warwick House
Warwickshire Wedding String Quartet at Warwick House – A couple of weeks ago, our wedding string quartet were hired to perform at a wedding held at Warwick House near Southam in Warwickshire. The couple decided to have their ceremony indoors as the weather was a little blustery, and as such, the string quartet set up at the back of the ceremony room and played as guests made their way to their seats. The bride entered to the eternally popular Canon in D by Pachelbel, but broke with tradition for the signing of the register with the quartet playing a rendition of Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’. Finally, for the exit music we played a very popular request, ‘It Must Be Love’ for String Quartet by Madness (which you can hear us playing here):
After the ceremony had finished we joined the guests in the bar area and entertained them with a variety of light, as well as rock and pop numbers. As the couple (and the groom in particular) were huge ‘Only Fools and Horses’ fans (even naming the tables after characters from this popular comedy series), we played the theme as they entered for the wedding breakfast. I managed to speak to the delighted couple at the top table, before departing from this enjoyable occasion!
