Wedding String Quartet At Woburn Sculpture Gallery – Yesterday, the Manor House String Quartet were booked to play for a wedding held in the Sculpture Gallery at Woburn in Bedfordshire. As this venue is very near to us we have played there many times as both a quartet and a string duo for weddings, functions and other celebrations.

We were asked to play for the wedding ceremony, with Pachelbel’s Canon in D being performed for the bridesmaids entrance and Wagner’s Bridal Chorus for the entrance of the bride, so this had to be timed quite carefully to avoid a large gap.

Afterwards we entertained guests with an upbeat selection of pieces chosen by the bride and groom – as we were positioned in the bar area, plenty of people enjoyed the music as they made their way up to collect their celebratory drinks.
