Northamptonshire Wedding String Quartet – Last Saturday, the Manor House String Quartet performed for a wedding held in the beautiful setting of Harrowden Hall near Wellingborough in Northamptonshire. The bride and groom on this occasion were happy for us to make extensive use of our large repertoire by hand picking a selection of favourite pieces of music for their big day (have a look at our Playlist page which lists over 800 pieces of music – everything from Vivaldi to Beyonc√© for string quartet!). As we’ve performed at over 700 weddings, we’ve been able to discover all the songs which have gone down well in past weddings, so are able to come up with a selection of pieces which will bring any event alive. Afterwards, photos were taken outside and the quartet entertained guests under a specially erected gazebo, but this proved short lived as the rain necessitated moving indoors again. At the end of the drinks reception, we moved back upstairs and played in an adjacent room to the wedding breakfast. The sound however did project so that guests could enjoy a varied and lively selection of music!
